Mondriaan Fund and Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam continue collaboration for Prix de Rome

The Mondriaan Fund and the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam have agreed to continue their collaboration for the Prix de Rome in 2021. This implies that the exhibition with new work by the visual artists selected for the shortlist 2021 will be on view at the Stedelijk Museum later that year.

We are therefore delighted to continue the collaboration.”

The Mondriaan Fund, which organizes and finances the Prix de Rome, is also pleased with the continuation of the collaboration. With the current edition there is not only a presentation that does justice to the quality of the nominated artists, the exhibition in the Stedelijk Museum also makes clear that the museum and the award deserve each other as important representatives of national stature in the field of contemporary visual art. art.”

The open call for artists who want to participate in the Prix de Rome 2021 will be announced by the end of 2020.
